National Byway - Britain's Heritage Cycling Route
- A 4,000-mile cycling route on many of Britain's most scenic and lightly-traveled
rural lanes, signed and mapped for cyclists, with more than 1,000 places
of interest and historic sites along the way. More than 3,000 Byway
miles are operational as of 2004.

(U.K.) - The sustainable
transport
charity - works on projects to encourage people to walk, bicycle and use
public transport to reduce motor traffic and its adverse effects.
